Job Responsibilities:
This role requires individuals to perform various tasks, including animal restraint, collecting and analyzing lab samples, managing and caring for medical and hospitalized cases, administering medications, communicating treatment plans with clients, preparing for and assisting in surgeries, and monitoring anesthesia. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a strong educational background, preferably with an associate's degree in veterinary technology or a related field. One year of professional experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Proficiency in electronic medical records, proficiency in veterinary software, and certification in veterinary technology (CVT) or registered veterinary technician (RVT) would be beneficial.
