The Supplemental Instruction Leader plays a pivotal role in enhancing student academic performance and retention by providing in-classroom assistance and facilitating peer-to-peer learning environments. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend all class meetings of assigned courses, take notes, complete assignments, and read all assigned materials.
- Conduct study sessions using strategies learned through the supplemental instruction leader training workshop.
- Schedule and facilitate supplemental instruction sessions with the supervision coordinator.
- Maintain regular communication with the supervisor coordinator for debrief sessions and report learning outcomes.
