Job Description:

The Marketing Assistant will support the Marketing Department and organization.  

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in conference and materials organization and distribution and logistical planning, including packaging of booths and other exhibit materials. 
• Supports branded swag and merchandise company orders, including packaging, shipping, organizing, and inventory. 
• Support development of social media posts and internal communications. 
• Support other office and/or discipline-specific initiatives as required. 
• Assist in other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a High school diploma.
• A minimum of two (2) years of job-related relevant experience.
• Ability to type and edit text. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Competency with marketing related programs and software, including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). 
• Strong oral and written communication skills. 
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team ethic. 
• Attention to detail. 
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks. 
• Ability to perform tasks accurately. 
• Self-starter. 

After an offer of employment is made, the candidate must successfully pass a pre- employment background check, drug screening, and DMV records check that meets WEST’s minimum criteria to operate a motor vehicle on behalf of the company.  A valid driver’s license will be required.
