Patient Coordinator

• Provides orientation and education to patients and their families.
• Encourages patients to proceed with the recommended treatment plans.
• Shares educational resources alongside care providers regarding treatments, procedures, and ongoing care needs.
• Reviews patients’ health benefits with them.
• Tracks patient progress from start to finish, acting as the main point of contact between the patient and the practice.
• Assesses patient care outcomes and offers suggestions for improvements.
• Consistently follows up with patients by phone throughout their treatment and after, ensuring full satisfaction.
• Collaborates with team members to coordinate information and care with other providers.
• Proactively resolves issues to ensure smooth progression of care.

Skills for the role:

• Strong understanding of insurance.
• Preferred experience in sales.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Friendly and approachable, with a positive attitude toward patients.
• Comfortable working with multiple providers.
• Tech-savvy.
• Able to work independently or within a team.
• Maintains high professionalism at all times.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent work ethic and attendance.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in patient coordination.
• College degree preferred.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Must be open to occasional travel to other locations. Primary location will be in Encino.
• Must be available to work occasional Saturdays.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
