What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Manager position at West Michigan Credit Union?
WMCU is looking for a Regional Manager in Grand Rapids. This Regional Manager would be responsible for overseeing and providing leadership and guidance to our Grand Rapids branch offices.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 – 5 years of branch management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Leadership and human resources management skills.
- CU*Answers experience required.
- Lending experience required.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
What You’ll Do:
- Facilitate monthly one-on-one Branch Manager meetings.
- Bring out the best of branch’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation.
- Ensure that branches meet referral, product offering, and service goals.
- Monitor office staffing needs with branch managers. Interview and hire as needed.
- Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions.
- Address member and team member satisfaction issues promptly.
- Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations/applicable laws.
- Develop and maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of all credit union products and accounts and related policies and procedures.
- Provide coverage for Branch Managers as needed.
- Visit branch offices at least 1-2 times a month.
