What are the responsibilities and job description for the Whitecaps Guest Service Representative position at West Michigan Whitecaps?
We are looking for a Guest Service Representative to work alongside the Operations department in the Guest Service area this season! Candidates need to be fan focused and ready to help with the variety of inquiries fans may have.
Who we are: We're the West Michigan Whitecaps, Class High-A Minor League affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. The Whitecaps are in the FUN business, and our mission is to provide affordable family entertainment that strengthens the West Michigan community. We create memorable experiences by offering a fun, friendly, and inclusive environment.
Why we want you: You're an enthusiastic and outgoing people person, with some prior experience in customer service. You're passionate about the fan experience, a stellar organizer, and work well with a variety of people and environments but are confident and comfortable working alone. What you need: Terrific customer service, excellent communication, interpersonal, and technical skills, and an enthusiasm for sharing your excitement and passion for the Whitecaps brand. The ability to multitask, organize, and adjust with each fan. Prior experience in customer service is preferred. Flexibility, since every day here is different. You'll need a willingness to work a lot of nights, holidays, and weekends.
