JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for all aspects of assigned residential or vocational program including health, safety, cleanliness, and comfort of the clients, their treatment and staff training, the condition of the work site, and supervising work site staff (DSP, DSP2, Assistant Program Manager, and/or DSP Manager). Provides and maintains a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients while following the organization’s policies and procedures, this includes compliance with licensing and all regulatory oversites. Provides clients with assistance and supervision needed to perform daily living tasks, and/or vocational skills. Serves as a role model for staff, ensures compliance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and contractual obligations for the program. Ensure a positive environment for staff and clients. Provides primary coordination and monitoring of the delivery of client health and medical services; creates, maintains, and ensures a system for delivery of medication administration and treatments prescribed by a physician. Ensures compliance with all medical related policies and treatment processes.
Essential Functions:
Residential and/or Vocational Oversite, Support, and Quality Assurance 70%
· Work in coordination with the Program Coordinator to provide support to their respected residential and/or vocational site.
· Observes, reports, and documents client physical conditions, daily activities, and behaviors.
· Participates in the development, implementation, and reporting of annual and special Personal Support Plans (PSP), completion of assessments, skill training strategies, behavior support, protocols and actions for clients.
· Supervises all staff in their assigned location including new hire paperwork, training, development, assigning of work, monitoring, and evaluating their work performance, and conducting corrective action in coordination with the Human Resource Department when necessary.
· Ensure compliance with licensing and all regulatory oversites; this includes Federal, State, and Local statutes and regulations.
· Ensure timely completion and submission of required reports and follow up information.
· Review purchases for areas of supervision.
· At a minimum, 20 hours a week of direct client support.
· Assist in the hiring of residential and/or vocational staff under their supervision.
· Coordinate and assist with the entrance and exit of clients in areas of supervision, this includes the of the transition of clients from current West Mont residential or vocational site to alternate location in the West Mont organization.
· Provide recommendations and facilitate client movement as needed.
· Provide feedback to Program Coordinators for areas of improvement or modification in assigned areas.
· Review schedules and assure appropriate staff coverage in assigned area as well as providing support to other areas as available.
· Ensure compliance with West Mont policies and procedures.
· In conjunction with Program Coordinators and the Human Resource Department, ensure the disciplinary process is handled professionally and in a timely fashion.
· Maintains all program policies to make sure we follow health and safety regulations as well as Administrative Rule.
Training 15%
· Conduct area specific training on a regular basis for West Mont as the subject matter expert.
· Report monthly on-site training to the Training and Quality Assurance Coordinator.
· Arrange for staff to attend all training as assigned.
Budgetary oversite of individual Group Home, Vocational Services, and/or apartment 5%
· Maintain fiscal responsibilities established by Residential Director; this includes but is not limited to, staffing levels in collaboration with client cost plans.
· Recommends changes to client cost plans as client services or needs change.
Investigation/Incident Management 5%
· Ensures all incidents are reported to the designated persons in the defined time frames.
· Attend incident Management meetings as assigned by the Program Coordinators.
Duties as Assigned 5%
· Perform duties and manage special projects and/or assignments designated by the West Mont Program Coordinator.
Extra $$$ Incentives
We also provide a shift incentive for those employees that work a 4-hour or 8-hour additional shift during a 40-hour work week. If you cover an additional 4-hour shift, as a new hire employee, you will receive a $4.37/hour increase for that week’s wages!! If you cover an additional 8-hour shift, as a new hire employee, you will receive a $8.75/hour increase for that week’s wages!!
