Job Title: Event Coordinator
West Newton Cinema is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Event Coordinator. As we continue to grow, this role will be responsible for overseeing all private rental bookings and ensuring a seamless experience for clients from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
The Event Coordinator will handle incoming private rental requests via phone, email, or online. This includes gathering relevant details from potential clients, determining event suitability, and coordinating with cinema staff to secure available dates and finalize bookings.
Responsibilities also include following up with clients the week of their event to confirm final details, being on-site on the day of the event to welcome the rental party and ensure their needs are met, and post-event follow-up to thank clients and collect feedback.
This is a Part-Time hourly hybrid role (15-25 hours/week). All correspondence, scheduling, and administrative tasks can be managed from home, with in-person attendance only required on the day of events.
We are looking for a personable, organized, and detail-oriented individual with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. A friendly, warm, and polished demeanor when interacting with clients, both in person and over the phone, is essential.
