SCHOOL DESCRIPTION
West Philadelphia Achievement Charter Elementary School is an inner city Arts and Technology K-5 Elementary School. We are a family oriented environment with family and community involvement being an integral part of our mission to enrich the lives of our students.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting classroom teacher
- Working with small groups of students
- Supporting lunch and recess
- Covering classes in teacher's absence
- communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, administrators, supportive staff, parents, and students
- Supports students virtually and in-person
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years working with children
- 60 college credits in education or related field
- Must be able to obtain or currently have all background clearances (Federal, PA State, & Child Abuse).
- In the event that the need arises, you will need to be able to: lift, pull or push up to 15 lbs, walk a standard flight of stairs, or stand or sit for up to 45 minutes.
Salary : $16 - $18
