Description: A Quality Assurance (QA) Technician ensures that products meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Their role is critical in identifying issues, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, food safety and quality assurance practices.
- Maintain proper documentation in all formats of recordkeeping in a legible manner.
- Gather, prepare, and analyze in process, incoming and finished products for analytical and microbiological components as required.
- Gather and analyze environmental samples such as sponges, air, and water.
- Submit samples to customers and outside testing labs as required.
- Prepare agar and reagents for lab testing.
- Evaluate keeping quality samples.
- Generate COA’s based on lab results.
- Perform plant wide quality audits & inspections to ensure all employees are complying with good manufacturing, safety, food safety and quality assurance practices.
