Job Description
Greet Patients
Chiropractic assistants serve as the face of the practice and are responsible for greeting patients, checking them in to their appointments, and maintaining an orderly waiting room. We strive to always have someone say hello and goodbye to each patient.
Manage the Practice’s Schedule
Maintaining an organized schedule is a key part of a chiropractic assistant’s daily tasks, from making appointments for patients to checking when the chiropractor is available.
Process Payments / Insurance Billing
Chiropractic assistants check with a patient when they arrive for their appointment how they will be paying for their treatment, and then process payments as necessary if the treatment isn’t covered by insurance companies. Assistant will also gather patient information and update and changes.
Distribute Information
Following the chiropractor’s instructions, chiropractic assistants distribute educational information to patients about their treatment and diagnoses, including any information that will help them with ongoing exercises that can help speed up their healing.
Therapies
Depending on the patient’s condition, the chiropractic assistant may aid in the setup of patient therapies.
Marketing
Chiropractic assistant may aid in the help of marketing opportunities as well as social media production. We are looking for more community outreach and support in various avenues.
We are looking to grow our team with an individual who is great with people, always smiling! We are looking for a part time chiropractic assistant/receptionist. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, adaptable, detail oriented, has a kind heart and the ability to put to serve patients.
The ideal candidate for this position is computer savvy, a proficient communicator and has an interest in natural health. Daily job duties will include: greeting and directing patient flow, basic front desk/administrative work, appointment scheduling, collecting payments, making and receiving phone calls, chiropractic education and light cleaning.
