We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Leasing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing operations, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate with potential tenants while maintaining positive relationships with current residents.
Duties
- Assist prospective tenants with property inquiries and conduct property tours.
- Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintain knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all leasing activities.
- Utilize customer relationship management tools to track leads and follow up with potential tenants.
- Perform data entry tasks related to tenant applications and lease agreements.
- Collaborate with property management teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and appealing to prospective renters.
- Implement upselling techniques to promote additional services or features of the properties.
- Handle inquiries related to Section 8 housing programs and assist applicants as needed.
- Utilize OneSite software for managing tenant information, lease agreements, and property data.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in property leasing or property management is preferred.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and relevant laws is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
- Proficient in data entry and office software applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs is a plus.
- Experience using OneSite or similar property management software is advantageous.
