What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Paraprofessional - SEBS Program position at West Springfield Public Schools?
The following position is available in the West Springfield Public School system : SPECIAL EDUCATION PARAPROFESSIONAL SEBS Program (Social Emotional Behavioral) West Springfield Middle School Duties :
- Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning
- Alert the teacher of any problems or special information about students
- Participate in in-service training programs, as assigned
- Guide independent study, enrichment work and remedial work assigned by the teacher
- Relate to students within the classroom in a manner consistent with the teacher's philosophy in the area of discipline and instruction
- Other duties as may be assigned Qualifications :
- Associates Degree or 48 college credits or Workkeys certification completed
- Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed
- Such alternatives found to be appropriate
- Certification in First Aid Certification and CPR preferred Work Schedule : Full Time : thirty (30) hours per week. Salary : Hourly per Unit D contract
