WINE BAR SERVER

West Tasting Room is a wine tasting room and retail shop showcasing boutique wines from the west coast regions and globally. We invite our guests to have a glass, flight, or a bottle in our tasting room or purchase wine to go from our retail shop. We offer a light-fare menu of charcuterie boards and pizzas. West also has monthly wine events, wine classes for our guests and wine club memberships.

We have a dynamic team and strong infrastructure so we can execute our operations efficiently and successfully. We strive to provide the very best customer experience for our guests which includes a strong knowledge of wine.

We are hiring a Part-Time Tasting Room Associate who has experience in the food and beverage industry and preferred wine knowledge. Candidates must have at least two years in food service, bartending, a winery or brewery, and a curiosity and passion for wine. We expect our Tasting Room Associates to have a basic knowledge of wine and we continue to train on-site.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 2 years food and beverage experience
Passion for food, wine and the hospitality industry
Basic familiarity with POS systems, customer service and customer payment transactions
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and task follow-through
Ability to work nights and weekends.

Wine certifications a plus including WSET, Court of Sommeliers, CSW.
