Key responsibilities of a warehouse manager:
Receiving and Shipping Operations:
- Overseeing the receiving of incoming goods, checking for accuracy, and coordinating the timely dispatch of shipments to our carriers.
Warehouse Layout and Organization:
- Designing and maintaining an efficient warehouse layout to maximize storage space and streamline the movement of cargo.
Staff Supervision:
- Hiring, training, and managing warehouse staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring adherence to safety procedures.
Quality Control:
- Implementing quality checks to ensure no issues with any packages or shipments.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensuring adherence to all safety and governmental regulations, performing regular inspections, and maintaining a safe working environment.
