Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Manager to oversee daily financial operations of a multi-faceted business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, with proficiency in Quickbooks. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage and multiple tasks, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger reconciliation and ensure all accounts are accurately maintained.
- Oversee account reconciliation processes to ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Must be proficient in Quickbooks online accounting software (you will be graded on your abilities during the interview process)
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
- Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic planning.
- Handle administrative tasks such as collections, invoicing, and payroll
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper and Office Manager
- Strong knowledge of general ledger reconciliation, technical accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks, and project based accounting (this is a must)
- Familiarity with GAAP standards is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and stakeholders.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
