Accounting Specialist Overview

• Perform tasks related to accounting, bookkeeping, and office administration
• Work will be based at the Wolfforth, Texas office
• Work requires persistent computer, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• 40 hours per week

Accounting Specialist Duties

• Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Oversee payroll processes and maintain accurate employee records.
• Utilize Accounting Software for financial tracking and budgeting purposes.
• Coordinate event planning and scheduling for office activities.
• Maintain calendar management for executives and staff, ensuring all appointments are organized.
• Handle vendor management, including negotiating contracts and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
• Exhibit excellent phone etiquette while managing incoming calls and inquiries.
• Develop and implement effective schedule management strategies to optimize workflow.

Accounting Specialist Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree (Required)
• Proven experience in office management.
• Proficiency in Accounting software is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and employee record maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while prioritizing responsibilities.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in budgeting and financial tracking.
• Familiarity with vendor management practices is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
