QUALIFICATIONS :

Teaching Certification
Successful experience as a coach
Excellent verbal and writing skills
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with students, staff, parents and the public
Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
Outstanding work habits / attributes
Understand State Board Policy 8100
Understand County Board Policy : Management of School Funds
Experience in hiring coaches and scheduling games

SALARY : Supplemental Pay $8,000

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Coordinate and schedule all athletic events and practices

Determine student eligibility for athletic participation and collect medical insurance documentation. Collect and submit athletic activity accident reports.

Coordinate all athletic event preparations

Assume responsibility for the accountability and maintenance of all athletic equipment

Supervise coaches and provide input to the principal for their evaluations

Prepare and monitor all athletic budgets

Coordinate transportation for all athletic events

Perform as liaison with the Band and Athletic Boosters

Coordinate all athletic recognition activities

Supervise athletic activities as assigned

Perform other duties as assigned by principal
