IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR : Treasurer / Chief School Business Official
JOB SUMMARY : To efficiently and expeditiously administer the operations of the finance department.
This includes the accounting operations of the individual schools, the central office accounts payable
department, and / or the central office payroll department in accordance with governing laws, policies and
procedures of the State of West Virginia, the West Virginia Department of Education, and Lincoln County
Schools.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor's degree with major in accounting or business administration with a minimum of 24 credit
hours in accounting; CPA Preferred.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES :
Board including, but not limited to : employee benefits and retirement, payroll processing,
purchasing, quarterly reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and individual school

EMPLOYMENT TERM : 240 Days
SALARY : Pursuant to WV Code §18A-4-2, in accordance with Lincoln County Schools Professional
Salary Schedule as stated in Salary Schedule #16- Central Office Level X- Coordinator. Advanced degrees
must be in a finance or business related field in order to receive credit. A CPA certificate will be considered,
for salary purposes, as a M.A. 30. Credited experience must be verified as working in a finance or business
field.

accordance with WV State Code §18A-2-12, and WV State Board Policy 5310.
