    Job Description
    POSITION: Summer Enrichment Lead Facilitator, as needed basis
    IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director of Elementary Education
    FLSA STATUS: Exempt
    EMPLOYMENT TERM: On an as needed basis. Days determined by individual school’s plan for program. **Wages are contingent upon actually working as the Summer Enrichment Lead Facilitator. No payment if school has to be closed due to something outside the control of Mason County Schools.

    SALARY: $75.00 per each day of program worked - Pending Student Participation
    EVALUATION: Performance in this position will be evaluated by the Director of Elementary Education and in accordance with WV State Code §18A-2-12, WV State Board Policy 5310, and MCBOE Policy C.2.3, Performance Evaluation of School Personnel – Administrative Procedures
    JOB SUMMARY: The Summer Enrichment Lead Facilitator will serve as the administrator at each building. This individual will work with staff and families to support students and student learning.
    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Meet with staff to review data, determine grouping and appropriate pathways to effective instruction in areas of need.
    • Coordinate programming.
    • Track staff and student attendance.
    • Verify Electronic Time Sheets
    • Be responsible for students and ensure students are picked up by approved family members or transported by bus.
    • Prepare Summer Enrichment reporting to be submitted to the Director of Federal Programs.
    • Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Federal Programs.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Valid West Virginia Teaching Certification or Administrative Certification
    • Three years of teaching experience preferred
    • Proficient with technology and data analysis
    • Effective organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with staff, students, and families

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Most commonly, the educational setting is indoors with outdoor settings for recess and field trip activities. The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate (20-60 dB). Exceptions include gymnasiums as well as vocational/ technical laboratories where the noise levels may be moderate to loud (60-90 dB).
