Salary Range: Professional_Salary_Schedule_Annual_2024.pdf (core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com) based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance.
Job Description: The Long Term Substitute High School English/LA Teacher is assigned to deliver a comprehensive English program in accordance with state law and West Virginia Board of Education and county policies and regulations.
Qualifications: Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate endorsed for English, English/language arts, or language arts at the grade levels applicable to this assignment (6-8).
Length of Employment: Until Employee Resigns/Transfers
Responsibilities: The Long Term Substitute High School English/Language Arts Teacher shall have the responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Putnam County Schools Job Description Handbook.
