Teacher of English Language Arts

Qualifications:
Applicant should possess or be eligible for West Virginia certification in the areas of English/Language Arts, grades 6-8; in addition to appropriate certification and/or licensure, criteria to be used is contained in 18A-4-7a of West Virginia Code.

Assignment:
Teach classes to middle school students as directed by the principal

Salary:
Based on experience and education level per Pocahontas County Schools salary schedule. See pocahontascountyschoolswv.sites.thrillshare.com for pay scales and benefits information. Pursuant to WV Code§18A-4-2, in accordance with Pocahontas County Administrative Salary Schedule, commensurate with experience and educational level, plus annual supplement.

Term of employment:

Effective March 10, 2025 for 57 days for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year and shall be 200 days each year thereafter.
