Food and Beverage Worker - Front of House Supervisor

$12 per hour, 40 hours week, year-round seasonal

The job duties for this position are listed as follows:

• Training new servers

• Overseeing preparation and set up for group services

• Morning shift and evening shift coverage plus all major holidays

• Overseeing day to day operations for front of house responsibilities

• Handling negative situations with guests with care

• Running open or cash bars for group services

• Coordinating with other departments within Twin Falls Resort State Park

• Ensuring guest satisfaction and customer service is exemplary

• Ensuring food quality and plating is up to standard before it reaches guests

• Attending and participating in interviews for front of house employees

• Ensuring all policies put in place by WV State Parks or Restaurant Managers are

followed

• Completing any certification classes deemed necessary by WV State Parks, WVTIPS

certification, and Manager level Food Handlers certification

• And other duties as assigned

This is a seasonal position offering $12.00 an hour plus gratuity at 40 hours a week. The person hired will be responsible for all front of house operations and oversight of employees. Group Services will be a major role in this position. The employee will be responsible for coordinating with the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager in order to oversee the set up and operation of groups that may be located at any location throughout Twin Falls Resort State Park. He or she must also be in attendance for each group or event held.

The Front of House Supervisor will be responsible for leading the front of house by example and ensuring guest satisfaction in any situation. This includes helping lodge guests outside of the food and beverage department, being knowledgeable about Twin Falls Resort State Park, its amenities and the local area. The Front of House Supervisor will also be required to attend events outside of Twin Falls Resort State Park such as training, restaurant operator meetings, and Food and Beverage tastings.
