What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineer Chief - Public Service Commission - Kanawha County position at West Virginia?
Under limited supervision and at the expert level, perform complex administrative and managerial professional engineering work, providing advice and expertise to management and the Commission concerning a variety of engineering matters.
Plan, organize, direct and evaluate the work of the Engineering Division. Direct the activities of a division of engineering professionals and support staff engaged in the regulation of public utilities before the Public Service Commission of West Virginia, including monitoring the work flow and development of Engineering Division Memoranda. Supervise section managers and administrative staff.
Determine the advocacy positions of the Engineering Division in matters related to electric, natural gas, sewer, solid waste, and water utilities in matters before the Commission.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Training: Current Professional Engineer (PE) license issued by the West Virginia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers.
AND
Experience: Nine (9) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience as a licensed Professional Engineer in a responsible capacity in charge of engineering projects.
Note: The experience must have been acquired after the bachelor’s degree but may have occurred before or after registration as a professional engineer.
