The West Virginia Lottery is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support its legal and executive staff. This role facilitates communication and expedited responses to leadership, stakeholders, and the public while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities: Serve as a liaison between executive staff and licensees across all product lines.Manage and coordinate Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) responses and maintain related databases.Track, prepare, and issue violations and license denial letters across all Lottery Acts.Oversee civil penalty processes, including issuance, collection, recording, and deposit.Monitor legislative activities and conduct legal research on institutional documentation.Prepare commission meeting materials, including agenda items, notices, and orders.Organize and maintain legal and executive records, correspondence, and certified mail tracking.Manage calendars and schedule meetings for executive leadership and legal counsel.Draft and prepare memos, letters, reports, and spreadsheets.Ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information to government officials, lobbyists, consumer groups, licensees, and the public.Handle phone communications for legal staff, the Lottery Director, and the Assistant Director.Track deadlines and ensure timely submission of required reports.Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Counsel.Ideal Candidate will have: Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.Experience handling confidential legal documents.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and under deadlines.Applicants are subject to an extensive background investigation by the WV Lottery Security Division.
