What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health and Human Resources Specialist, Senior - Health BPH - Kanawha Co. position at West Virginia?
Position duties are to serve as the main administrator of the Cooperative Agreement grant, the point of contact for the Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSA) and Medically Underserved Areas/Medically Underserved Population (MUA/MUP) shortage designations for the state. Will also work with eight (8) National Health Service Corps (NHSC) programs; the NHSC Loan Repayment Program, the NHSC Scholarship Program, the NHSC Student to Serve Program, the NHSC Faculty Loan Repayment Program, the NHSC Substance Use Disorder Workforce Loan Repayment Program, Rural Community Loan Repayment, the NHSC Nurse Corps Program Loan Repayment Program and the Nurse Corps Scholarship Program.

Training: Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university.
Substitution: Additional experience as described below may be substituted for the required training on a year-for-year basis.
Experience: Four years full-time, equivalent part-time paid or volunteer experience in a technical or program area that is related to the area of employment.
Substitution: Post-graduate education in a field related to the technical or program area may be substituted for the required experience on the basis of fifteen semester hours for one year of experience.
Three (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in the Health and Human Resources series may substitute for the required training and experience.
