ESPs include organizations/individuals providing allowable education services to Hope Scholarship students, such as nonpublic schools, microschools, tutors, therapists, etc. The position will serve as the primary point of contact for ESPs needing assistance or with questions about the program. The position will be responsible for monitoring ESPs for compliance with program rules and for providing regular communication about the program to such providers.Job Duties: Acts as the main point of contact and liaison for ESPs participating in the West Virginia Hope Scholarship Program.Manages and updates Hope Scholarship ESP lists and ensures the Hope Scholarship website contains the most current information.Provides technical assistance for ESPs with questions or experiencing issues.Recruits ESPs from West Virginia and surrounding states to participate in the program to provide as many educational opportunities for students as possible.Represents the program at local conferences and meetings. Single day travel is required as well as occasional overnight stays.Ensures approved ESPs are aware of program rules and monitors for compliance as needed.Assists with the investigation and resolution of complaints from parents regarding participating ESPs.Assists with the maintenance of the ESP Handbook in conjunction with the contracted program manager.Prepares content for the Hope Scholarship newsletter.Assists with answering the Hope Scholarship phone line as needed and serves as the back-up for the Hope Scholarship Parent Outreach Coordinator.Prepares activity reports and submits to Assistant Treasurer and Executive Director.
