This position will be located in the following county: Kanawha County, WV.
Requirements for this position include but not limited to:
A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required.
Travel to various State Agencies, which may include Department of Corrections and/or State Hospital Facilities.
Maintain accurate mileage records.
You must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Regular attendance is an essential part of this position.
Job Duties: Under limited supervision, you will perform the following:
Image, install, and perform advanced level troubleshooting on computer systems.
Use an ITSM (IT Service Management) tool to accept assignment of incidents and tasks and update the ITSM daily, recording all work performed and resolving incidents or tasks, when completed.
Lead and assist in agency moves.
Lead and participate in large agency-wide computer, peripheral, and software upgrades.
Actively participate in Google Chat Spaces for Client Services Field Staff and your assigned region.
Prepare documentation using provided templates.
Mentor OT Trainees and ITCA 1s.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Training: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, computer engineering, electronics, network engineering or closely related field; OR, graduation from a standard high school or the equivalent, plus two WV Office of Technology approved information technology certifications.
Experience: Four years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting computer hardware, software and/or network connectivity.
NOTE: Acceptable information technology certifications include CompTIA's A or Network , and any Microsoft Certification, any Cisco Certification or any Help Desk Institute Certification.
