This position will be located in the following county: Kanawha County, WV.
Requirements for this position include but not limited to:
A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required.
Travel to various State Agencies, which may include Department of Corrections and/or State Hospital Facilities.
Maintain accurate mileage records.
You must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Regular attendance is an essential part of this position.
Job Duties: While working alongside a mentor and team members, you will learn how to do the following tasks:
Image computers using a WVOT standard image.
Install and configure hardware and software.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Basic networking.
Connect to computers remotely to install software and troubleshoot issues.
Use an ITSM (IT Service Management) tool to accept assignment of incidents and tasks and update the ITSM daily, recording all work performed and resolving incidents and tasks when they are completed.
Assist the OT Service Desk answering calls and entering tickets on a rotating schedule.
Prepare documentation using provided templates.
Provide excellent customer service.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Training: Associate degree from an accredited college or university with nine (9) semester hours of computer science/Information technology.
OR
Substitution: High school diploma or the equivalent.
AND
completion of certificate.
OR

Salary : $39,461 - $68,582
