Under limited supervision, the Asthma Project Director will work collaboratively with the project investigator and project staff to achieve grant deliverables for the Asthma grant. The incumbent will represent the Title V agency as the subject matter expert of the Title V priority health issues concerning asthma related health concerns. To facilitate adherence to federal/state regulations and standards, the Asthma Project Director will work with sub-recipients and other key stakeholders to ensure the EXHALE strategies and activities are developed and implemented. This position will serve as the nurse liaison to partners and programs to guide clinical and educational aspects related to asthma. The incumbent will make recommendations regarding nursing policies and protocols to programs administered within the Office of Maternal, Child and Family Health (OMCFH), and selection of state initiatives and priorities for improvement.
