This position is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications to support business operations and technology initiatives for the Office of Management Information Services/Data Management and Analytics Unit. The role involves analyzing user requirements, creating technical specifications, and implementing solutions to enhance system functionality. A key focus will be developing, maintaining, and optimizing interactive data visualizations and reporting solutions. The key responsibilities of this position are as follows: Dashboard Development: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making.Data Integration: Connect dashboards to multiple data sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and real-time data availability.Performance Optimization: Improve dashboard efficiency using data extracts, query optimization, and best practices.API Development & Integration: Develop, maintain, and optimize API code to enable secure and seamless data exchange across systems.Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver user-centric solutions.Testing & Validation: Ensure data integrity and visualization accuracy through rigorous testing.Documentation & Training: Maintain technical documentation and provide end-user training on dashboard functionality.The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Click The APPLY Link To Apply Online. A Master's Degree in computer science or related field including but not limited to business data programming, business systems analysis, computer accounting, computer and information systems, computer servicing technologies, information systems management, data processing, or computer engineering would be equivalent to 2 years of the required experience.Preference will be given to those candidates with experience in the following: Tableau, with additional knowledge of Power BI and best practices in data visualization.SQL, database management, and data modeling.API development and integration to support data connectivity.Experience in optimizing dashboard performance and usability.
