As a supervising programmer analyst, this position will monitor processes and teams, while working through a project Software Development Life Cycle. Applying standard programming procedures and knowledge of pertinent functional areas. Analyzes needs, designs, writes, and tests new programs and applications using solid coding skills and the ability to test and troubleshoot applications and software programs. Required programming skills may include but are not limited to: Web development - C#, jQuery, SQL, MVC, .NET, Visual Studio; Relational Database – Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PLSQL, Stored Procedures; Reporting - Cognos, Data Analytics; Cobol (mainframe and Unix), Team Foundation Server (TFS), system design and analysis. Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Use case testing and technical documentation skills desired. Consults with business analysts to determine specific program and data requirements, prepares technical system and project documentation and attends development meetings. Will participate in the data cleansing, conversion, and transition activities. This position performs supervisory responsibilities (EPAs, Timecards, Interviews, etc.) and related work as required. A Master's Degree in computer science or related field including but not limited to business data programming, business systems analysis, computer accounting, computer and information systems, computer servicing technologies, information systems management, data processing, or computer engineering would be equivalent to 2 years of the required experience.
