Job Description :

Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at West Volusia is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department. The DON will oversee clinical operations, ensure high-quality patient care, manage nursing staff, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations . This role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and staff development skills, along with a deep understanding of long-term care (LTC), skilled nursing facilities (SNF), and compliance standards .

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the nursing team to provide high-quality patient care following state and federal regulations .
• Recruit, hire, and retain nursing staff , ensuring compliance with staffing regulations.
• Implement policies and procedures in alignment with corporate and regulatory guidelines .
• Manage budgets and oversee daily clinical operations.
• Conduct staff training and ensure competency evaluations.
• Address resident concerns and maintain a positive resident experience .
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
