Pay Range: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all admissions inquiries
- Dedication and determination to keep the beds at the facility full.
- Be willing to serve as the face of West Vue to other public referral resources and represent the facility at public events.
- Conduct initial screenings and assessments of potential residents
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure appropriate placement of residents
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of admissions and discharges
- Provide information and support to residents and their families regarding the admissions process
- Collaborate with insurance providers to verify coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Utilize clinical experience to assess urgency and prioritize admissions accordingly
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
- - Previous experience an an LPN is required
- -Prior experience with admitting patients to long-term care facilities, pre-authorizations, and insurance knowledge
- Previous experience working in a facility, clinical or hospital setting is highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of electronic medical records systems
