Job Description:
A phlebotomist is responsible for accurately and efficiently performing venipunctures, capillary punctures, finger sticks and dipstick tests. They must follow protocol for preparation, collection and computer entry to ensure accurate results. The phlebotomist must maintain clean and sterile equipment and workspace to prevent contamination. They must also maintain patient confidentiality at all times. The schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday, with availability from 7 am to 6 pm.
