Pay range of $30 hr - DOE
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Supervise and organize a team of carpenters on a construction site
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to plan and execute projects
- Build, install, and repair structures made of wood, such as walls, floors, and roofs
- Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials
- Plan and manage the schedule and budget for a project, including ordering and tracking materials and equipment
- Ensure that work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and other contractors to ensure that projects meet their needs and expectations
- Train and mentor apprentices and other carpenters to develop their skills and knowledge
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness on the construction site
