What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at Westaff?
Westaff is seeking Quality Inspectors for a Plastics Manufacturer in Deep River, CT!
Hours: 3rd shift
Payrate: $20.22/hr
Quality Inspector Job Duties:
- Will have the immediate responsibility to assure that finished goods meet or exceed expectations.
- Will be responsible for finding classification of typical defects encountered.

Use all measuring devices and perform quality tests properly to produce results to assist production decision making.
Will alert the Operator to all defects so that the defects can be addressed.
Will be responsible for verifying the specifications sheet that packaging parameters are being met.
Will safely perform any rework required.
Quality Inspector Requirements:
All outer garments must be clean.
Shoes must be clean, sturdy and in good condition.
No ripped or frayed clothing.
No rhinestone or glittered clothes.
No short shorts, tight pants, spandex, or revealing clothes.
Comfortable lifting up to 40-50 lb.
