Job Title: Manufacturing Buyer

Job Type: Full-Time

Task/Responsibilities:

-Complete and process error-free ordering, purchase orders (P.O.’s), returns and vendor paperwork.

-Generate monthly inventory order reports for manufacturing and process as needed.

-Participate in Vendor Approval Council (VAC).

-Evaluate supplier performances through vendor performance scorecards per applicable procedures.

- Initiate continuous improvement in our purchasing processes and contribute to cost-saving proposals.

- Communicate with supervisors and colleagues to support Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing requirements and ensure timely procurement of materials.

-Maintain filing of purchase orders and vendor paperwork.

- Negotiate and execute supplier contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions.

-Prioritize and organize workload to meet deadlines.

-Assist with inventory audit processes.

- Evaluate and manage stock levels to support production schedules and minimize excess stock.

Requirements:

- Excel in communication, purchasing processes and supply chain in general.

-Experience in the manufacturing industry; PCB (Printed Circuit Board) experience is preferred but is not a requirement.

- Strong track record of successful negotiations and cost reductions.

-Proven business relationship skills in a fast-paced environment.

- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively with both colleagues and vendors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.80 - $30.00 per hour
