Job Description/Qualifications
Position Summary
This position will require processing monetary transactions for customers with speed and efficiency. You will be expected to provide professional and efficient service to customers while demonstrating a high level of product knowledge
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Operates a cash register, including responsibility of cash till
- Bags and packs customer purchases with care
- Stocks and maintains displays
- Collects shopping carts from parking lot and surrounding areas regardless of outside conditions
- Maintains current knowledge of product
- Maintains clean and organized work area free of hazards
- Provides exceptional customer service
- Abides by Westborn Market’s time and attendance policy
- Keeps a positive and helpful attitude during length of shift
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Demonstrates basic math skills with and without a calculator
- Ability to write legibly and read with comprehension at a level where it applies to this position
- Knowledge of current product and codes
