Position Summary
The Store Shift Leader will assist our Store Directors by aiding in daily operations to keep our store running smoothly and consistently. We are looking for an adaptable person that is willing to step into various roles and departments as needed to ensure guests receive the best possible shopping experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Manages store operations when Store Directors are not on premises
· Assists with store opening and closing procedures
· Fully trained in all departments
· Operates a POS (Point of Sales) cash register and is familiar and comfortable working with monetary transactions
· Operates a variety of kitchen equipment (ovens, slicers, and other food prep equipment)
· Stocks and rotates merchandise correctly to ensure the freshest product available
· Engages and interacts with the public to offer quality customer service
· Prioritizes tasks appropriately and can re-prioritize with ease
· Demonstrates problem solving skills in a fast-paced customer-oriented work environment
· Maintains a clean and hazard free workspace
· Abides by Westborn Market’s Attendance and Uniform Policy
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
· Able to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Ability to work in a team setting as well as working independently with little supervision
· Ability to multitask and switch roles with ease
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
