Job Description

We are seeking a warm and engaging PT Speech Therapist to work with very bright and sweet pre-teen girl with social anxiety and ADHD. You will be focusing on pragmatic language, reciprocity, social skills, and executive functioning in the context of home activity for approximately 8 hours per week.

Responsibilities :

Partner on development and iteration of plan and goals in partnership w professional team.
Work with student in-home early afternoons; approximately two hours per day, 4 days per week. Schedule is flexible but something like the following : M : 1 : 30-4 : 00; T : 1 : 30-3 : 00; TH : 1 : 30-3 : 30; FR : 3 : 00-5 : 00
Provide weekly (quick) updates on progress

Qualifications :

Degree in SLP

Previous experience in speech and language pathology

Familiarity with pragmatic communication disorders

Ability to build rapport with patients

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Positive, warm, and patient demeanor
