Job Summary:
We seek an experienced and motivated Production Manager to oversee our liner operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to optimize production efficiency while ensuring quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production operations to meet targets for quantity and quality.
- Develop and implement production schedules to optimize resources and reduce downtime.
- Monitor and assess production performance for continuous improvement.
- Prepare production reports and update senior management on progress.
- Set product standards and make decisions regarding inventory, staffing, and work procedures based on production needs and constraints.
- Analyze and evaluate information to solve operational problems effectively.
- Lead, train, evaluate, motivate, communicate, and provide coaching and feedback to new and existing team members.
- Promotes a safe work environment and enforces safety standards.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a similar manufacturing role, with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn additional business-related software.
- Bilingual- English & Spanish is preferred.
- Understanding of measurement techniques and tools is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform labor-intensive work for 8 hours.
- The role requires working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and potential hazards.
- This position may require occasional overtime and weekend work.
