What you'll do:
As an HR Specialist you'll be a part of our HR Operations Team that supports our managers and employees. Your key responsibilities will be processing people-related administrative tasks and transactions, including answering questions regarding the Bank's people-related policies, programs, and platforms.- Manage a high volume of tasks through ticket management for activities such as pre-boarding, onboarding, policy and procedure questions, reviewing and actioning reports, and processing data transactions in Workday. Support internal and external customer requests and tasks, ensuring a prompt and effective response through efficient ticket management that meet our Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Provide clear and accurate information on a wide range of HR topics.
- Provide administrative support for people-related processes. Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and systems by identifying areas for enhancement is an expectation.
- Serve as an HR Operations Team subject matter resource for on multiple HR domains: Pre-boarding, Onboarding, Background Checks, General HR Support, I-9 Compliance, CA Covid-19 Requirements, Education Reimbursement, Unemployment Claims, Labor Law Poster Compliance, and Verifications of Employment.
- Manage and maintain HR data in bank systems, including scanning and filing activities, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information. Organize and scan electronic files to ensure easy retrieval from bank imaging software.
- Perform all functions according to established policies, procedures, employment law and regulations, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements.
What you'll need:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
- Experience working in an professional corporate environment preferred.
- Entry level knowledge and experience with Human Resources onboarding, background checks, compliance, and general HR Support preferred.
- Demonstrated experience addressing inquiries and resolving issues timely while providing a positive experience preferred.
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
