Job Description:
The Qualified Behavioral Health Provider-Case Manager/ CIT will work in Booneville at our Horizon Renewal Substance Abuse Residential Treatment Facility. This role focuses mainly on providing collaborative empathetic and holistic treatment to participates suffering from addiction to encourage recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting group and individual counseling to address substance misuse and co-occurring mental health disorders
- Facilitate psychoeducational groups adhering to the provided curriculum
- Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process adjusting interventions appropriately.
- Conducting individual and group counseling sessions.
- Providing de escalation and problem solving techniques for client’s in crisis.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions with clients including progress notes.
- Foster a supporting and healing therapeutic community.
- Advocate for clients, empowering them to reach their full potential.
- Conduct urinalysis at appropriate times in the treatment process
- Adhere to all ethics set forth by the state and to all Guidance Center policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- CIT Certification preferred
- Strong commitment to recovery.
- Must have a minimum of high school diploma or equivalency (GED).
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be able to past a back ground check .
- Must be able to past a drug screen
