The Guidance Center is looking for a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to work with children within our School Based Program. This specific position would be working directly with students in the Fort Smith School District.
Duties: Clinical assessments and diagnosing, treatment planning, therapy (individual, family, group), crisis stabilization, and documenting treatment in an electronic medical record
Requirements: Minimum of a Master's Degree from an accredited institution, as well as a current Arkansas license (LAC, LPC, LAMFT, LMFT, PLMSW, LMSW, LCSW, LPE). Must pass background checks and drug screens.
Salary: Competitive pay based on experience.
Continuing Education: 6 free live CEUs offered quarterly (24 annually); plus access to free unlimited online/virtual CEUs. Formal training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Child Parent Psychotherapy available.
