Third Shift: 11:00 PM -7:00 AM Thursday- Monday
Who We Are: The Guidance Center is a non-profit community behavioral healthcare provider serving the communities of Crawford, Franklin, Logan, Polk, Sebastian and Scott Counties in Western Arkansas. The 5 West CSU is looking for an eager motivated individual who can provide direct service contact with the client in order to obtain a full range of needed services. Monitor and supervise the client’s functioning, establish support for the client, and obtain information relevant to the client’s individual Plan of Care. This must be provided under the direction of the client’s team leader.
In consultation with the client’s primary therapist, update and develop goals and objectives relevant to identified individual goals and treatment plan according to the level of care assigned.
May provide transportation to enable the client to obtain needed services.
Prepare accurate, timely and complete progress notes and service tickets for services rendered.
Attend scheduled clinical service meetings and supervisor meetings on a regular basis.
Complete continuing education units required per year to maintain QBHP certification.
Meet time deadlines for completion of required educational components to maintain Center accreditation and certification.
Knowledge of and adherence to the ethical standards governing Center operations.
Acknowledge and accept that culture is a significant factor in shaping people’s behaviors, beliefs, and values.
Respect the unique, culturally defined needs and behaviors of various population groups or individuals.
Report to work on time, communicate schedule changes promptly to the supervisor and maintain regular attendance.
Follow-up: Call to ensure the continuance of care. Set appointments with appropriate care providers.
Assist with keeping appointments, remove barriers.
Connect the guest to resources.
Peer-recovery. Assist with developing a recovery plan.
Assist guests with needs to build and live a recovery lifestyle.

Essential Job functions:
1. Receive and triage incoming CSU crisis calls.
2. Work directly with clients identifying needs, and connecting them with community resources.
3. Conduct educational groups with clients.
4. Ensure the safety and well-being of all the clients, at all times.
5. Provide detailed documentation of all services provided via electronic medical record.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum High School Diploma/GED
2. Pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen and FBI/Criminal Background Check

2. Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
3. Ability to work with individuals suffering from mental illness and, or substance abuse.
