The primary purpose of this position is to deliver dynamic business services support and effective asset management for the Division of Advancement. This role is essential in maintaining and documenting key procedures that promote clarity and consistency in operations.
As the CataMart requester, those serving in this position play a vital role in overseeing vendor renewals and managing fixed assets, ensuring everything runs smoothly. CataMart is Western Carolina University’s electronic procurement platform.
An additional focus of the position is on the daily processing of gifts and meticulous record-keeping, which involves accurately recording donations in Raiser’s Edge, upholding data integrity, and maintaining backups in accordance with the University’s document retention policy. Raiser’s Edge is a fundraising and donor management software.
Additionally, this role fosters collaboration by providing requested information to internal colleagues and generating engaging weekly gift reports for university stakeholders, ensuring that everyone stays informed and connected to our fundraising efforts.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
