The primary purpose of the position is to install, maintain and repair building plumbing and sanitary waste systems, building heating and ventilating systems, underground water and steam distribution lines, and sewer mains. Normal work hours are weekdays Monday through Friday. Emergency response and rotating weekend standby duty is also applicable.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position

Ability to exercise independence in performance of routine work. Ability to maintain effective working relations with other employees, departments and general public. Ability to assume responsibility as lead worker in the performance of duties. Required Minimum Training: Completion of High School or equivalent. Three (3) years progressive experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of building plumbing and sanitary waste systems, building heating and ventilation systems, underground water, sewer, and steam systems, and sewer mains.
Must have a valid North Carolina Drivers License.
Must be able to obtain a North Carolina Backflow and Cross-Connect License, NC CDL and a North Carolina Fire Sprinkler Maintenance Technician License within 1 year of hire date.
