The Role:
The Account Manager will play a crucial role in developing and managing client relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring that clients leverage Microsoft Dynamics solutions effectively to meet their business goals. This individual will be the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, responsible for maintaining long-term relationships, overseeing project success, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for existing clients, ensuring consistent communication and providing proactive support.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations.
- Understand the client's business needs and challenges, offering tailored Microsoft Dynamics solutions to address these requirements.
Business Development/Account Growth
- Identify opportunities for account expansion by offering additional Microsoft Dynamics solutions, training, and services.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the relationship and drive revenue within assigned accounts.
Manage Sales Cycle
- Own research, prospecting, discovery, solution proposals, business value presentations, negotiations, and closing.
- Create solution proposals for software subscriptions and professional services, including Business Cases, Journey Maps, Value Maps, Project Charters, and Statements of Work
- Provide buy-in demonstrations of Microsoft technologies and coordinate full product demonstrations and presentations with presales resources.
- Coordinate and lead the sales kick off call with the project teams ensuring a smooth transition.
Solution Consultation
- Guide clients through the journey of understanding the value of Microsoft Dynamics products and services.
- Provide strategic advice on how to maximize the use of Microsoft Dynamics solutions to drive business growth and efficiency.
Reporting and CRM Management
- Track all sales activity and opportunities in the CRM
- Provide regular updates on pipeline progress and forecast.
Market Insights
- Stay informed on the latest trends, updates, and developments in the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem. Provide clients with relevant information to ensure they are maximizing their solution and staying competitive in their industry.
Qualifications
- 3 years of technology based selling experience in a business-to-business environment.
- 2 years of selling ERP solutions specifically with a working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Previous experience with Business Central, F&SCM, Customer Engagement and other legacy applications (AX, NAV, and CRM)
- Ability to listen to a company’s pains, build a solution vision that shows business value, communicate the benefits of partnering with Western Computer, and convey our ability to achieve the desired outcomes.
- A proven ability to work in a dynamic collaborative team environment.
- Excellent written, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively interface with employees, and customers of all levels, including C-Level executives.
