$35/hour and up.
RMPT is looking for an experienced Field Service Diesel Generator Technician at our Brighton, CO location. In this position, you will support customers by performing maintenance, diagnostic, and repair operations on diesel power generation units.
Option of 5x8 or 4x10 hour days.

The Field Service Diesel Generator Technician will:
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Manage all aspects of critical power systems installation, start-up, and commissioning.
- Perform diagnostic and repair procedures on all systems including PLCs, AC/DC, ATS, and switch gears.
- Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance and loadbanking on electric power generation equipment, including gas and diesel engines, generators, and transfer switches.
- Coordinate with installing electrical contractors.
The Field Service Diesel Generator Technician needs:
- 10 years of experience with diesel power generation.
- AAS Electrical Power Generator Technician certification or graduation from a technical school.
- Computer literacy. Familiarity with diagnostic software.
- Self-directed mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to excellent customer service.
- Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA) certification a plus.
- Ability to provide own hand tools and appropriate storage.
